ONE TINY MOUSE WITH A VERY BIG MOUTH

Meet Herbert, the tiny harvest mouse with a wildly overactive imagination… and a not-so-tiny habit of telling fibs. From duelling with eagles to outwitting foxes, Herb’s stories are unbelievably epic. But when one of his whopper lies is overheard by something with sharp claws, fantasy suddenly turns frighteningly real.

With Hazel, his best friend, by his side, Herb must outwit genuine danger, face the consequences of his tall tales, and maybe, just maybe, discover that telling the truth is the bravest story of all.

Bursting with action, heart, and humour, Little Mouse with the Big Mouth is a tale of honesty, friendship, loyalty, and courage. So if your young readers love animals, mischief, and underdog heroes, this is the perfect book for them.

"A heartwarming tale that will have your kids on the edge of their seats." A.R. Marston

Adorable and Charming!

Adorably cute, enchantingly sweet with a message about honesty and friendship, J. A. Kahn’s LITTLE MOUSE WITH THE BIG MOUTH is “that” book that warms the heart and tickles the funnybone!

This has been a pleasure to read, a joy to read to little ones and an adventure they will want to hear over and over! In a world that can be so complicated and harsh, this is a place ready to whisk all young imaginations away to the land of make believe and fun.adorble and Charming

An entertaining tale with a lesson at the heart

Herbert likes to tell stories about his bravery, but the only one who believes him is his best friend, Hazel. When Herbert has a run in with an owl, he is sure he will end up as her lunch. But this could be the start of his biggest adventure ever.
This was a well written story and I liked how Herbert grew and changed across the story. His lies led to real bravery and changed his life forever. I would definitely recommend this book for kids aged 6-10 I think it offers an important lesson about lying and how it is important to stand up for others.

Wonderful Tale That's Sure To Delight!

I really enjoyed The Little Mouse... Charming and endearing, with a nice message too.
One comment I would make. Some illustrations throughout the book would really bring the story to life! Reminiscent perhaps, of A.A.Mine / E.H. Shepard :-) An audio book would also be a nice touch. Something to consider for the future perhaps, as future stories, undoubtedly, will go from strength to strength.

Great fun

Really enjoyed reading this to my kids. Only regret was not buying the paperback to begin with.

My kids loved it, and if I’m honest, so did I. It’s a great adventure story with plenty of action and a fair amount of danger, which had us all on the edge of our seats. We all loved Herbert, a loveable rogue, and of course Hazel his loyal friend. Great characters all round.

A big thumbs up from me and the kids. We just ordered the paperback off Amazon to go with the ebook version.

A fun, heartwarming tale. Herbert is a great character, you'll be rooting for him throughout as he fibs his way in and out of trouble. Well written and an easy read.

Great fun

This book was recommended to me by a fellow primary school teaching colleague who read it to her class. She said her kids absolutely loved it.

I managed to get a free copy from the author in exchange for an honest review, and while on the Easter break, I read it to my six-year-old daughter. She and I both loved it. It’s a very well written story with plenty of excitement and danger suitable for younger readers to enjoy. I think illustrations would really add to the fun of the book but I can understand why the author chose not to have any.

I return to class next week and am looking forward to reading it to my kids. I’m sure they’ll love it as much as my daughter and I do.

Wonderful

First off, I got a free copy of Little Mouse with the Big Mouth from the author in exchange for an honest and unbiased review, which this is.

What can I say but that this was such fun to read to my boys. I planned on reading a chapter a night as their bedtime story but they begged I read more and more. In the end we finished it on the 4th night. They absolutely adored Herbert, a truly masterful fibber. But oh boy does he lie his way into some serious trouble. My kids were on tenterhooks throughout, would he be able to talk his way out of it? They loved it from start to finish.

We are starting the 2nd reading tonight!!!
